Heather, has been working on Art foundation programmes for over 30 years, most recently setting up the Arts Foundation Year at the University of Lincoln in 2018, this year she will be contributing to a number of conferences that examine and explore this dynamic and formative year.

On 29th August [at the RCA, London], Heather will present What if? –  learning to harness potential through embracing uncertainty at ‘Foundational: Exploring the Legacies and Impacts of Foundation Art & Design Education’, International Network of Foundation Educators (INFE), Royal College of Art (RCA) & Uniarts Helsinki. Reflecting upon her experience and contributing to a discussion on benefits, legacies and futures – considering what form an international archive could take.
